My Caricature Background

I started drawing caricatures right out of high school in 1986. For four years I worked with Fasen Arts at the Six Flaggs Great America Theme Park near Chicago. That job got me through college.

When I graduated, Steve Fasen asked me to move to Las Vegas to be the General Manager of his caricature business in the Excalibur Hotel/Casino. From 1990-1996 I managed caricature artists, airbrush T-shirt artists and portrait artists in the Excalibur, MGM, and the Colorado Belle.

In 1996 I left the full-time retail caricature scene to pursue other career options and be a freelance artist. Since then I have drawn at hundreds of private parties of all shapes and sizes.
